This marks his first appearance in 2025, following his last outing at The Open in 2024. The exclusive event features elite golfers and notable personalities, including Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Ernie Els, Tom Brady, and Nelly Korda. While the event is not televised, Woods' participation has generated significant interest as fans and analysts anticipate his performance.

Ryan Peake, a 31-year-old Australian, has secured a spot in The Open at Portrush after winning the New Zealand Open. Kooyonga Golf Club Plans Course Enhancement

Kooyonga Golf Club in Lockleys, South Australia, has announced plans to increase the difficulty of its 16th hole. The proposal involves lengthening the Par 5 hole from 504 meters to 520 meters to align with premier golf course standards and address technological advancements in golfing. This initiative aims to maintain the club's esteemed status and enhance its reputation as a championship venue. The proposed changes are currently open for public commentary until March 19, 2025.
